mission:
the mission of evam is to support and enhance the creativity of theatre professionals by offering uninterrupted time & space for research work and collegial interaction to create performances in a setting of great natural beauty, and to preserve the land on which the residency is situated.

what is evam?
· a residence cum workspace for theatre professionals through invitation.
· a space for concentrated training through corporal regime and research.
· a space that will create new and experimental works by anomalous practice and research, amongst artists   from different traditions and cultures.
· a space for theatre laboratory that will generate unpredictable contacts between theatre practitioners and   other disciplines.
· a space that will create and disseminate new theatrical works all over india and abroad.
· a space that will propagate an experimental lifestyle that will be organic and simple.
· a space that will provide all facilities necessary for creative thinking, working and development of new   vision.

future objectives:
· to increase the territory and thereby the participants and projects undertaken at evam.
· to involve more artists from all over the world into the residency.
· to provide a wider range of facilities and equipment to ensure that an artist's time at evam is more   productive.
· to engage with as broad an audience as possible through an innovative programme of public performances.
· to constantly examine the artistic and administrative functioning of evam and to inject new ways of   functioning.
· to work in partnership with key individuals and organizations within india and abroad.
· to foster sponsorships, grants & coalitions with cultural organizations, philanthropic bodies and   government schemes both in india and abroad.

How you can help the project:
we are presently seeking potential partners and donors who would be willing to contribute towards this project monetarily or in kind. details of budget, current funds acquired and the funding shortfall are available on demand.

returns to donors:
evam will recognize the contribution and support of all its partners, funders and friends through:

· evam life membership. this will be evam's commitment to all major partners. along with invitations to our   shows and festivals, members will get schedules, publications and other publicity & promotional material.
· members will get all souvenirs & merchandise from evam.
· members can use evam's library, archive and other resource & research material
· members will also be offered apprenticeship or internship at evam.
· member's name shall appear on our website and publications pertaining to evam and its activities.
· members can also add links on our website.
· based on availability, members can use various spaces of evam for art related purposes.
· members can use our outreach facilities- workshops, talks and forums, strategic advice.
· a permanent plaque at evam will carry member's name at evam.
