the evam youth forum is conceived by the company theatre as an initiative towards creating a vibrant and thriving culture of theatre among youth across india. the evam youth forum seeks to bring together talented, committed and hard-working young artists and provide them with opportunities and a platform to explore their art further and produce exciting new theatre.

although it is currently under the aegis of the company theatre, the evam youth forum will develop as a completely autonomous body with regard to its administration and programming, led by its own artistic director.

as it is presently in its nascent stage and all its members are within mumbai , the forum's current activities and projects are located in mumbai. but as it continues to evolve, the forum will assume an all india nature and expand to include all major indian cities, with a vision to create a strong network of several parallel youth forums in other cities and simultaneously further the cause of theatre among youth all over india.
